Year 1 Home Learning Information

The learning expectations for your child in Year 1 are: 

Reading – 5-10 minutes daily

You can read your school book, your own books at home, audio / video stories on You Tube or online books on Rising Stars Reading Planet / Epic Reading.

Learning videos – 30 minutes daily

We will post a mixture of Maths, English and Phonics videos on our school website page each day.

Learning grid – 20 minutes daily

The learning grid contains a variety of learning activities based around our topics.  This will be emailed to you and posted on Twitter each week.

Online learning – choose at least one learning platform a day to access

Epic Reading, Rising Stars Reading Planet, Numbots, Purple Mash or Spelling Shed / Maths Shed
