Online Safety

Online safety is taught as part of the National Curriculum for Computing and is also discussed in some of our PSHE lessons.  Our Computing lessons come from the NCCE Teach Computing units as well as resources provided by Project Evolve.  Our Computing lessons come from our Jigsaw scheme of work.

We celebrate Safer Internet Day each year and regularly share online safety information with parents through our @Inspire_Compute account.

We have a membership with the National Online Safety service where parents and carers can create an account on the free app / website and access helpful guides, videos and webinars on various subjects.  For information on creating a free parent account with National Online Safety, please click hereWe have also included several links below for more information on keeping children safe and happy online.

In July 2023, we were very proud to receive the National Online Safety accreditation.  Achieving this took a lot of hard work and determination from staff, parents and governors to complete up to date training, ensuring we are best prepared to keep our children safe online.  Click here to see our Certificate and Press Release.
