Hello, Inspire pupils, Mr Le Duc and Maths Monkey here with some ideas on how you can look after your mental health.
First of all, and most importantly, we advise you:
• Eat well
• Sleep well
• Get regular exercise
After that, it’s very important you find someone to talk to if you feel sad, worried, angry or upset.
This someone could be a family member or someone at Inspire.
It’s also important to relax every now and then. Relaxing is not the same as having fun. A video game for instance, can be a lot of fun, but make you feel pretty tense afterwards.
Mr Le Duc himself likes to do art activities, such as drawing, painting and sculpting to help him relax, and he doesn’t put pressure on himself for the end result to be amazing either. The most important thing is to enjoy it!
